Recently we had a solar thermal customer who was experiencing extremely high energy bills. In particular, the family’s water heating propane bill was excessive. The customer contacted SEM to see if there was any way we could help diagnose the issue. They were particularly perplexed by these bills, and with good reason, because of the fact that SEM had installed a solar water heating system for them a few years ago; these bills were supposed to be lower!
