Eastern Mennonite University Celebrates 104 kW Photovoltaic System

About 150 people turned out to celebrate the “Flip the Switch” ceremony for Eastern Mennonite University’s new solar array. This is now officially the biggest PV system in the state of Virginia! It’s also a big help for the university’s commitment to creation care and environmental sustainability. Southern Energy Management Installing Largest Solar Project in Virginia

SEM is working on a really cool solar project for a school in Virginia that many people might not associate with solar power. Eastern Mennonite University is going to have the largest solar array in the state of Virginia when it’s all said and done — and this is something that fits their “creation care” goals perfectly.
